Clarence Stevens was born October 15, 1974 in Paterson, New Jersey to Clarence and Frances. Clarence attended the local public schools in Paterson, New Jersey and was a bright and eager student. A proud graduate of Kennedy High School, he went on to attend Florida A&M in Tallahassee and in his sophomore year transferred to Hampton University in Virginia. Clarence loved Hampton University, where he majored in Sociology and worked as a Resident Assistant in Moten Hall. He met Meredith at Hampton and she later became his wife. From this union, two sons, were born: Clarence Tyler and David Alexander. The family lived happily in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. Clarence loved the finance industry and worked hard to earn licenses and credentials. He worked at Merrill Lynch Bank of America for many years. He was enthusiastic about football and his favorite teams were the Jets and the Giants. Every year he would run a Fantasy Football tournament for his sons, nephew, and other family and friends. He also loved March Madness and picking teams for his bracket. Every year he’d always root for Hampton to upset a #1 or #2 seed. He also enjoyed checkers and board games with his family. His family was his heart, he enjoyed planning vacations for them to attend – especially to Disney World. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Frances Stevens. He is survived by his loving wife Meredith, two sons Clarence Tyler and David Alexander, his father Clarence (Lillie), and his siblings: Michael, Theresa, Jeffrey, Vonda, Stephanie (Gregg), Kenyatta and Malik.
