Lifelong New Yorker Donald Fricelli, 83, died on April 26th , 2020 at his home in Midtown Manhattan. Services to be scheduled for a future date. Don was born on Columbus Day,1935, in the Bronx, a point of pride for his Southern Italian Heritage, to Michael Angelo and Evelyn Elizabeth (Curzio) Fricelli. Don’s Passion was Art and Architectural History, a Study for which he received his Doctoral Degree from Ohio State University in 1984. He was a natural and engaging educator on the subject whether he was leading you through The MET or standing in front of his of his students at Fordham University or Bronx Community College. He was a Devoted Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, a Proud Veteran of the United States Army, an Avid Collector of Books, despite the size of his apartment, and was able conjure up the best Friday Night Potatoes and Eggs you will ever eat. He is survived by his Brother John, many nieces and nephews and Countless Friends who will miss him dearly.
