Agnes Miri 82 of Westwood, NJ, formally of Ridgewood, NJ
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, who passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, at the age of 82. She is survived by her husband Mario Miri, daughters, Diana and Lorraine Miri, son Lawrence Miri, daughter-in-law, Cheryl DePalma Miri and her dog Bitsy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ann Maiorano. Agnes Miri was born on January 31st, 1943, in Brooklyn NY to Ann and Joseph Maiorano. Growing up, she spent her summers at Coney Island where she met her husband of 63 years, Mario. Throughout her life, she was devoted to caring for others and cherished her roles as a mother, daughter and wife. She found joy in golfing, sewing, dancing, caring for her pets and gardening.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 26th 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Burial will follow at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood, NJ on Saturday, September 27th. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Agnes’ life.
Agnes' love and warmth will remain in our hearts forever.
