Albert Joseph Marinelli Jr.'s Obituary
With great sadness, Albert Marinelli Jr., 75, of Little Falls, NJ passed away on September 18th, 2020 surrounded by family.
He was born May 4, 1945 to Albert and Olive Marinelli. He graduated from the College of Staten Island and later worked at the Staten Island Developmental Disabilities Services Office. He married Dawn Marinelli in 1998. Al is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; son, Al and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren Leo and Cruz; his sister, Barbara Donnelly; brother, Paul Marinelli and his wife Peggy; many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends, and his beloved dog Buster Brown.
Al was a passionate fisherman, spending many happy days on a party boat in Point Pleasant, NJ. He was an avid gardener and was famous for his homemade tomato sauce and escarole and bean soup. He loved gambling and making people laugh. He was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy from 1963-1965. He enjoyed spending time with his many brother and sister-in-laws at family gatherings. He loved watching his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews grow up.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday, September 22nd from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home at 232 Kipp Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 23rd at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home. Interment: Ocean View Cemetery, 3315 Amboy Road, Staten Island,
NY.
