Ana Mary Rodriguez Sosa's Obituary
Ana Mary Rodriguez Sosa was born September 8, 1959 to Jose Rodriguez and Mercedes Maria Sosa in Cotui, Dominican Republic. She was one of four siblings.
She worked as a hair stylist and owned her own hair salon in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She moved to New York in the 90's looking to create more opportunities and endeavors for her and her daughter. She lived with her daughter in the Bronx up until November of 2018 where then Alaris at the Chateau became her new home until the very end.
Ana was a giver and found joy in helping people. She was always a believer of doing good for others without expecting anything in return because your true blessing came from above. She is the loving mother of Fiorella, whom she leaves behind.
After a long battle with Alzheimer's Dementia and Parkinson's Disease, Ana passed away on Saturday, February 10 of 2024 at the age of 64. She will forever live in our hearts as we cherish all the wonderful memories we have with Ana. Thank you for being such an amazing mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. Although you may no longer be physically here, you will never be forgotten.
Friends and family are warmly invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, February 14th from 4pm-8pm at the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604. The following morning, Thursday at 9:30am a prayer service will be offered in the funeral home. The burial will immediately follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus.
