Arthur A Pranzo's Obituary
Arthur Pranzo 92 “Artie”of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away on January 2nd, 2018 at Chilton Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Artie was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and graduated from Manhattan High School of Aviation in 1943. He enlisted in the United States Navy during WWII and proudly served his country from 1943-1946. Upon return to civilian life, he met and married Josephine Pollaro in 1950. In 1958 they moved to Hasbrouck Heights where he has lived for the past 60 years. Prior to his retirement Artie was a Lineman/Installer and manager for New York Telephone for 32 years. He loved to spend time with his family both at home and at his house on Cape Cod were he enjoyed boating.
Artie was predeceased by his wife Josephine in 2002 and is survived by his caring Daughters, Debbie and her husband Gene Filosa, Janice and her husband Tommy Norton, all from Boonton, NJ. His Grandchildren Mathew Smith and wife, Angela, Randy Smith and wife, Lindsey, Jessica and husband, Dan Mondino, and Nick Filosa; His 3 Great Grandchildren, Scarlet Mondino, Savanna Smith and Logan Smith and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 5, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm. at the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6th, at 10:00am at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church 218 Washington Place Hasbrouck Heights. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus.
