Carmela Barrale's Obituary
Barrale, Carmela (Millie), 96, of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on April 4, 2018. Predeceased by her husband Ettore (Eddie). Loving mother of Angela Barrale White, Lisa Barrale and Eddie Barrale. Beloved grandmother of Lucas, Samantha and Josephine and cherished mother figure to all who knew her. Millie was a former seamstress who spent countless hours making her children’s clothing/husband’s suits, bridal party dresses, costumes and much more. For all of those who knew her, she was the happiest sitting at her sewing machine. Millie and her husband were the owners of Eddie’s Italian American Deli on the Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights from 1955-1983. She was a fantastic cook with a wonderful sense of humor who will be greatly missed by all. Millie was also a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C.C. in Hasbrouck Heights since 1955.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave, Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, April 7 from 9am-1pm. Private cremation to follow.
