Whenever I spoke to him he would tell me the story of how he became my godfather. My dad said to him"Come on. Charlie, you're going to be Robbin's godfather" and Charlie said, "Wait, wait I don't want to be a father" Charlie was only 7 years old at the time and had know clue why he was being dragged off to be a "father". We would crack up. I'll miss you "godfather".
Charlie the Gentleman a great asset for the PA at the Lincoln Tunnel. On the road in the field, Charlie was always willing to help me get it done. When he rolled up on me and I saw him climbing out of the wrecker, I knew my job just got easier. RIP Bro
A big guy with a bigger heart. I worked with him for many years at the Lincoln Tunnel. May he rest in peace.
