Charlotte J Agresta's Obituary
AGRESTA Charlotte Joan (nee Frommer) passed away peacefully at home on March 17th surrounded by those who loved her most in this world. Her beloved husband of 63 years Joseph Agresta, along with her six children, were by her side.
Charlotte was a life-long resident of Northern New Jersey, born in Hoboken and raised her family in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Charlotte was known to love a parade, a celebration of any kind, and brought joy, compassion and kindness everywhere she went. Happiest near water, she loved the lake and the ocean and created decades of family memories on the Great Sacandaga Lake.
She is survived by her children Joe and Carol Agresta, Tom and Doreen Agresta, Linda and James Pentifallo, Donna and James McIntyre, James and Ruby Agresta, and Lise and Michael Muccilo. “Char Char” was a beloved grandmother to Allyson, Joe, Cindi, Kimberly, Cari, Caitlin, Justine, Kristy, Dominick, James, Madison, Devin, and Isabella and a great-grandmother to Ivan Shea, Shannon, Mac, Cara, Claire, Owen, Nicholas, and Adam.
She is predeceased by her granddaughter Sandy Agresta, her sisters Mathilda Carregal and Augusta Errico, and her brother William Frommer, as well as her parents William and Augusta Frommer.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave, Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, March 21st from 6-8pm. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Il Villagio restaurant in Carlstadt on Wednesday, March 22nd at 3pm.
