Dana Lee P Wood's Obituary
WOOD Dana Lee of Clifton passed away on July 20th, 2015 at the age of 70.
Dana spent most of her career as a communications manager in the food industry, including employment with Standard Brands in New York City and East Hanover and CPC International in Englewood Cliffs.
When she retired, she began a second career as a volunteer for several years with The Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside, a hospice volunteer and a reading tutor with Literacy Volunteers of America.
Dana delighted in her world travels and dearly cherished her many friends.
She is survived by her sister, Nina Wood, of Wood Ridge. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Nina R. and M. Dale Wood of Hasbrouck Heights, her maternal grandparents, Al and Lisa Rosso, also of Hasbrouck Heights, and her dear aunt, Winifred Rosso, of Waldwick.
Thanks to the care of Amedysis Hospice, Dana was able to spend her final almost six months with her sister in comfort and a loving home environment.
Funeral from the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave Hasbrouck Heights. Visitation Wednesday 1-3pm & 7-9pm. Service at 8pm. Interment private.
