David Palmieri's Obituary
David James Palmieri, 52, of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away on Sunday, November 14th surrounded by the love of his family. Dave is survived by his beloved wife Cindy (née Sery). They shared 32 wonderful years of marriage together and had three beautiful children; his son David (Marylin) and daughters Erin and Kate. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Lucas, Bradley, and Mila. Loving brother Michael, Stephen and Gregory and sister Brenda Hennessey, along with many nieces and nephews. David is predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary.
Dave was a lifetime resident of Hasbrouck Heights; he attended and graduated from Hasbrouck Heights High School and later became very active in coaching sports in Heights for 18 years. In addition to coaching, David was employed with the Hasbrouck Heights Department of Public Works as a tree foreman for 30 years.
He was very active in the Hasbrouck Heights Junior Football League and he also coached HH Little League as well. He deeply enjoyed coaching and bringing smiles to the kids' faces. He will be remembered for his sunny personality. He was always a cheery, happy guy with a smile on his face. He will be forever missed.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave, Hasbrouck Heights from 4 to 9pm on Thursday, November 18th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 19th at Corpus Christi RC Church, 260 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
