Edward Raymond Roth's Obituary
Edward Raymond Roth, age 63, of New Jersey, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Born in Teaneck, NJ, Eddie was a beloved son of Dorothy and Harold Roth. Eddie, a devoted father and adoring grandfather, was a man of nature with a deep pride in his family, and the simple joys of life.
Eddie was first and foremost a proud father and an even prouder grandfather. Nothing meant more to him than his family. He spoke often and lovingly of his children and grandchildren, finding his greatest joy in their happiness, growth, and every accomplishment — big or small. His pride in them was endless, and his love, unconditional.
In his younger years, Eddie was a remarkable bowler, but he was most known for supporting his sons in every game and moment of their athletic journey. Whether supporting from the sidelines or offering words of encouragement, he was always their biggest fan. A true rock’n’roller at heart, Eddie had a passion for music that matched his adventurous spirit. With playlists full of classics, he found peace in casting a line into a quiet lake or taking careful aim with his bow and arrow.
Eddie will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and the way he could make you laugh with just a few words. His legacy is one of love, music, nature, and family — all carried forward by the many who loved him…the man everyone knew as Pops.
Eddie is predeceased by his father, Harold Roth, sister Tina Perez, formerly Roth, and nephew, Christopher Perez. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Roth, wife, Luz Roth, children, Jonathan and his wife Vanessa, Bryan and his fiance Amanda, grandchildren Christian, Sebastian, Julian and Blake, and sisters Sharon Roth and Robbin Carrone and her husband Joe Carrone.
A memorial service will be held on June 7th from 12-4PM, at Hennessy Heights in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. All who knew and loved Eddie are welcome to attend and celebrate a life well-lived.
Rest in peace, Eddie. You lived with heart, loved with everything you had, and left the world better than you found it. May your legacy live on in every song played a little too loud, every fish caught with a grin and every arrow that flies true.
