ARMONAITIS
Eileen (nee Leach), of Hasbrouck Heights, passed on December 5th after a short illness. Predeceased by her beloved husband George P. Armonaitis Sr, to whom she was married to for 49 years and her brother Edward & sister in-law Arlene (Ehlers) Leach.
Survived by her loving son George P. Armonaitis Jr and his wife Faith C. Ballantine-Armonaitis and her grandchildren Katie C. Armonaitis and George P. Armonaitis III. She is also survived by her brother John Leach and his wife Karen of Longwood, FL and Richard Leach and his wife Jackie Augustine of Wood-Ridge. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews John Leach, William, Keith & Andrew Armonaitis, Karen Flanagan, Kelly Leach and their respective families.
Born on November 21, 1942 in Jersey City, Eileen lived in Jersey City, Lodi and Fair Lawn before moving to Houston, TX and Ocala, FL before returning to New Jersey in 2014, settling in Hasbrouck Heights. She worked 30 years as a full-charge bookkeeper and was the owner of her own bookkeeping service.
Funeral from the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp, Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, December 10th at 9am. Funeral liturgy at Corpus Christi RCC, Hasbrouck Heights at 10am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Monday, December 9th 4-8pm.
