Eleanor Valentino's Obituary
Eleanor Valentino, 91, was the beloved wife of Salvatore who predeceased her
on January 6, 2022. They were inseparable for 71 years. She was still so in love
and often asked, “Isn’t he cute?”
Eleanor was born in Jersey City. Her dad passed away from pneumonia when
she was only six days old. Her mom raised her and four older brothers. She
inherited her inner strength from Nana Lehman.
Eleanor was a stay-at-home mom to her four children Diane, Susan, Nancy and
Steven. She had six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. They had a
special place in her heart. She was devoted to making her family happy. She was
the sweetest mom and grandma ever.
Eleanor enjoyed Family Feud, reading Danielle Steel novels, doing word search
puzzles and attending plays in NYC with her daughters. She looked forward to
attending Sunday Mass and chatting with the priest afterward.
Eleanor was a beautiful soul. If you knew her, you loved her.
