Eleanore F Patire's Obituary
Eleanore F. Patire, age 90, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025. Born on December 1, 1934, Eleanore lived a life rooted in love, family, faith, and perseverance.
She was the beloved wife of the late Sebastine “Charles” Patire, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. A devoted mother, Eleanore is survived by her children: Michele Lindenau; Lisa and her husband, Dave Sholtis; and Angelo and his wife, Grace and son-in-law Sebastian Inturrisi. She was predeceased by her daughter, Angela Inturrisi, and her son-in-law, Michael Lindenau.
Eleanore’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jade and her husband, Daniele Baratta; Taylor and Xavier; Jenna and her fiancé, Dave; Noelle and her husband, Dan Laboy; Daniel; Salvatore; Sandra; and Julianne. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Alexsandra, Damiano, and Charlotte.
She is survived by her brother, Roger, and her sister, Alida Kaufmann, and was predeceased by her siblings John, William, Marie, Anne, Bertha, and Meta.
Eleanore lived her life for her family. She raised her children with strength, love, and grace, and later in life returned to school to earn a degree in business—an achievement that reflected her determination and resilience. A gifted cook and baker, she was known for the meals and treats that brought loved ones together.
Her Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her life. A devout and loyal member of the Rosary Society, Eleanore was deeply committed to her spiritual life and church community.
She will be remembered for her strength, warmth, devotion, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her. Eleanore will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, June 29th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. At Hennessey Heights Funeral Home 232 Kipp Avenue Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
The funeral will be held on Monday, June 30th, beginning at 9:00 AM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook, NJ.
Burial will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi, NJ.
