Elizabeth "Betty" Powell, 82, of Brick, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. Betty was a member of Corpus Christi Church Rosary Society, Contemporary Club, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary. Betty will always be remembered as a kind loving funeral caregiver to many families that lived in Hasbrouck Heights. Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Henry T. Powell. Loving Mother of Richard Powell of PA, Rodger Powell of New York and Patricia Simler of NJ. Cherished grandmother of Diane Powell, Dawn Taylor, Daniel Powell, Christina White and Bryan Powell. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22nd, 2014, 10 AM at the funeral home. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson, NJ. Family to receive friends Friday 2- 4 and 7- 9 PM at the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave., Hasbrouck Heights. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
