Emil Panas' Obituary
Panas, Emil- 83, of Garfield passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on June 16, 2012. loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was born on August 8, 1928 in the town of Rozwadow, Poland to Aniela and Jozef Panas. In 1965 he immigrated to America with his family where he had a successful career as a cabinetmaker, carpenter and builder. Emil is survived by his wife Elizabeth Panas, son Adam and daughter-in-law Barbara Panas, daughter Laura and husband Jerzy Sowinski, grandson Steven and wife Monica Dolack, grandson Robert Trela and Michelle and two great grandchildren, Alexis and Aaron Dolack.
Viewing service will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2012 between 4PM and 8PM at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Avenue Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Mass service and burial will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 in Rozwadow, Poland at Mother Mary of the Scapular Church.
