Frances Wallace's Obituary
Frances Wallace (nee Pienkowski), 92, of Saddle River, N.J. passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior, on Friday, December 12, 2025. Frances was born and raised in Jersey City, N.J. the devoted daughter of Julian and Valerie Pienkowski ( née Kacmarczyk). In her long life, she also resided in Lyndhurst, N.J., Belleville, N.J., Barnegat, N.J., and Whiting, N.J. and owned a vacation home in Tobyhanna, Pa. She was employed by the Lyndhurst Board of Education for 36 years as a Fourth Grade Teacher, Remedial Reading Teacher, and LDTC. She retired in January 2000. During her retirement, Frances was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, in Whiting, N.J., where she regularly sang in the choir. Frances was the loving mother of Nancy A. Trust, of Barnegat, N.J.,and Janice Lynn Clare, (Robert), of Allendale, N.J. She was the adored grandmother of Christopher Trust(Clarissa Martinez), Andrew Trust, Kristen Scanlon(Ryan), Dana Miller(Jesse), and Jennifer Wehrle. She is also survived by her 6 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Chase, Liam, and McKenna Scanlon, Declan Miller, and Arianna Trust. She was the sister of the late Helen Minell, Victor Pienkowski, and Theresa Wilechansky. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be missed immeasurably.
