Geraldine Fiedler's Obituary
Geraldine Fiedler, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, in Sunrise, Florida.
Geraldine was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and a cherished member of every community she touched. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Thomas Fiedler, and her children: Debra Martinelli and her husband Michael, Donna Hammond and her husband Robert, and Dustin Fiedler and his wife Joey. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Thomas Fiedler Jr. and Gina Bell.
Geraldine’s legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Devon, Ronald, Nicholas, Michael, Christopher, Tyler, Angela, Quinn, and Max.
A woman with a heart for children, Geraldine ran a successful childcare business for many years and dedicated herself to the safety and well-being of countless families as a school crossing guard in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604. Family and friends are invited to gather again on Monday, June 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home before proceeding to St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village, NY for a 12:00 p.m. graveside service.
A memorial service in Geraldine’s honor will be held at Community Christian Church in Sunrise, Florida, with the date and time to be announced.
Geraldine’s compassion, strength, and joyful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her in return.
