Gerard Giacomo, 83, of Little Falls, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 4th, 2014. Born in New York City on March 15th, 1931 to Carlo Landi of La Spezia and Suzanne Cornetet Landi of Beasoncon, France. He lived most of his life in Little Falls.
Gerard graduated from the University of Miami and was a passionate man who enjoyed life. He loved traveling the world and instilling that passion and knowledge to his children and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Dagmar Landi. He was extremely loving and proud of his children, Jean Phillipe and Mary Landi of Ridgewood, Jean Paul Landi of Little Falls, Odette and Steve Pringle of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Monique Landi of Los Angeles, California. Loving grandfather to Austin, Tyler, Nicolette and Zachary Landi, Jessica and Alyssa Landi, and Raquel Pringle.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8th from 9:00am-10:45am at the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. A funeral liturgy will follow at Corpus Christi RC Church, Hasbrouck Heights at 11:00am. Cremation private.
