Gilbert A. Hunt passed away on November 27 at his home at Sunrise Senior Living in Basking Ridge, N.J. He was 93 years old. Gil was born on September 30, 1926 in New York, NY. He was the oldest of three boys and grew up in Buffalo Read Obituary
As a member of the Classis of Greater Palisades, I served with Gil on the Finance Committee. He was a man of deep faith and a welcoming heart. I was sorry to hear of his passing. I know though that he was welcomed with open arms by the Lord he loved and served and heard the words we all hope for, “Well done, good and faithful one.” My prayers go with his family and many friends as you say goodbye.
Many of the Greater Palisades Classis of the Reformed Church in America do remember Gil fondly. We appreciated his devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the Church. Gil was an eager and bold servant leader. The Rev. Kathy Jo Blaske
He was a good man, and a great brother. Always had a kind word, and a witty remark.
He was a mainstay at Euclid Lodge for many years.
