Gloria Fisher's Obituary
Gloria Fisher (née Haggerty), longtime Stamford resident and alumna of Sacred Heart Academy – Class of 1945-- passed away peacefully on December 23rd of respiratory illness following a short hospital stay. Gloria lived for many years in Hollywood, FL, and for shorter periods in Indio, CA and Hackensack, NJ. She is survived by her son, Robert Moran, of North Bergen, NJ, and her daughter, Bonnie Moran-Kappenhagen & son-in-law, Andreas, of Peoria, AZ. Her second husband of over thirty years, John Fisher, pre-deceased her in 2003. Arrangements entrusted to the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave., Hasbrouck Hts., NJ. Visitation on Wednesday, December 28th 3-5pm & 7-9pm. Interment on Friday, December 30th, at Maryrest Catholic Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave., Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
