Gregorio P Tiongson Jr.'s Obituary
Gregorio P. Tiongson, Jr. passed away on October 25, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. He was the husband of Milagros G. Tiongson. They shared 37 years of marriage together.
Born in Tondo, Manila, Philippines, he was the son of Gregorio C. Tiongson, Sr. and Paz P. Tiongson. He received his MD from Cebu Institute of Medicine and his BSN from Remedios Trinidad Romualdez College of Nursing. He enjoyed a prolific healthcare career as a Radiologist in the Philippines and a Registered Nurse in New York. During his life, Gregorio touched countless lives through his compassion and dedication to helping others heal.
Gregorio was a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church in New Hyde Park, New York. He enjoyed chess, playing piano, singing, bowling, shooting at the range, spending time with family, and staying updated with news and current events. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and devotion to his family and the American Dream.
He is survived by his wife Milagros, his children Michael and Melani, his grandchildren Logan and Jaqueline, his brother Edgar, and his sisters Jasmine, Bernadette, and Eva.
Viewings will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Hennessey-Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey 07604.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 218 Washington Place, Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey 07604 at 10:00am followed by cremation at Rosehill Cemetery and Crematory at 792 East Edgar Road, Linden, New Jersey.
