Harold Denson's Obituary
Harold Denson, age 92 passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, July 26 at his home in Hackensack. Born March 19, 1923 in Hackensack as the third child to Samuel and Sarah Denson, he graduated from Hackensack High school and Lafayette College with a degree in economics. A World War Two veteran of the armed forces, he served in France and Germany from 1942 to 1946. Harold retired at age 88 from a long and highly successful career selling life and disability insurance for Penn Mutual Insurance company. He is pre-deceased by his daughter Lynn Denson, brothers Alan Denson, Lawrence Denson and sister Ruth Cohen. He is survived by his long-time partner Marlene Lengner, daughters Debbe Brady of Centreville, VA, Cynde Denson of Conifer, CO and granddaughter, Jen Silvers of Flushing, NY. He will be remembered for his optimistic attitude and great sense of humor. The family will hold a private memorial service. Arrangements were entrusted to the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
