Henry H Orbach's Obituary
Henry H. Orbach, aka Poppy, was born and raised in Union City, NJ. After graduating from high school he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany during the Korean War. He married his high school sweetheart Rita in 1955. Henry worked as a forklift mechanic for Yale Trucking, Amerios, and then CPC International up until he retired in 1994. He then spent what were supposed to be his golden years, helping to raise two of his four grandchildren. Henry was an avid bingo player and loved taking trips to Atlantic City and other casinos. He loved to fix anything and everything, the Jersey Shore, long Sunday drives, fishing, reading, traveling, spending time with his two chihuahuas, watching the New York Yankees, Villanova basketball, and the New England Patriots. Above all, Henry will be remembered for the way he loved: deeply and unconditionally. He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew him. Henry is predeceased by his wife Rita Orbach and is survived by his children Jennifer Ahmed and William Orbach, along with his four grandchildren Jena Ahmed, Zachary Ahmed, William Orbach Jr., and Dakota Orbach. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Name Hospice.
