Jason Kaplan's Obituary
Jason Kaplan, 52, passed away peacefully on Friday December 10, 2021, surrounded by family
and friends. A native of Long Island, Jason resided in Monroe, New York for many years with
his beloved wife, Christine Kaplan (nee: Gilson), son Andrew Kaplan and his loyal companion
Smudge. He was a Director of Information Technology, working for companies such as IBM,

family. As a devoted father and avid photographer, Jason was a fixture at Monroe-Woodbury’s
sporting events taking photos of his son and teammates. A diehard Jets fan, Jason had a great
sense of humor and often needed it, sitting in the cold at MetLife Stadium rooting for his
cherished team.

Dolgicer; his father, Allen Kaplan and wife Iris; his devoted brothers, Steven Kaplan, and wife
