A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend, Jesselyn Silva touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was a shining light, pure of heart, and full of extraordinary drive. With a beautiful smile that could brighten any room, Jesselyn gave her all in everything she did. Jesselyn was ahead of her time. She started boxed at the age of 7, knowing exactly what she wanted from a young age. Her determination and focus led her to accomplish so much in the short time she was with us. An amazing boxer with a fighter’s spirit, Jesselyn never backed down form a challenge- even after her diagnosis of cancer, she continued to move forward with unyielding courage and strength.
Through it all, she held on to her faith, which gave her the resilience to face each day with hope and grace. Her steadfast spirit and grace inspired all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. A true role model to everyone she met, Jesselyn’s strength, kindness, and faith left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Even in the face of life’s toughest battles, she never complained, choosing instead to continue with a smile that reflected her beautiful soul. Jesselyn’s legacy is one of love, strength, faith, and unyielding determination. She authored a book, and her story was immortalized in a documentary that captured her incredible journey, both of which stand as testaments to the remarkable life she led.
Today, we celebrate Jesselyn’s homecoming- a journey back to eternal life, living forever in our hearts and in the arms of eternity. She accomplished the ultimate goal in life: she made it back home.
