Joao Fuinhas Dos Santos' Obituary
Joao F Santos, 82, passed away on October 18th at Hackensack Hospital. He was the husband of Maria C. Santos (nee Marcos). They shared 56 years of marriage together.
Born in Mourilhe, Vale de Azares Portugal, Joao was the son of Jose dos Santos and Maria Isabel Rodrigues Fuinhas. He was educated in Portugal and served in the Portuguese military. Once he came to the United States, he was employed as a construction laborer.
He was a parishioner of Saint Francis Church in Lodi, NJ. He enjoyed watching his favorite soccer team sporting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Maria, his son Paulo and his wife Maria, and his grandchildren Alyssa and Paulo.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 25th from 4-8pm.
Mass will be at St Francis Church, Lodi, NJ on Saturday, October 26th at 10am followed by burial at St Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ at 11:30am.
