John Kirincich's Obituary
KIRINCICH John A., of Allendale passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on January 12, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born in New York City to Helen (nee Rencic) and John Kirincich in 1929 days from the stock market crash and the start of the Great Depression. He grew up in the Bronx and was the first member of his family to get an education beyond grade school. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School. While holding down a day job at the New York Public Library, he attended New York University at night. He majored in accounting and became a CPA. John joined Officer Candidate School and entered the Navy where he was stationed in Norfolk, VA. He began his civilian career at the brokerage firm, G.A Saxton (NYC) and years later joined the New York printing company Mathias & Carr which he came to own and manage for over 40 years. John is survived by his children: Paul of Menlo Park, CA, Steven of Concord, MA, and Susan of White River Junction, VT. He is also survived by his brother Joseph of Saddle River, NJ, and five grandchildren who were a constant source of pride and joy. A memorial service will be held on Sunday January 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM at The Brick House, 179 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Allendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 26 Arcadia Rd, Allendale, N.J. 07401.
