John Richard Pelcher's Obituary
Pelcher, John Richard, 86, lifelong resident of East Rutherford, passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2016. John was the loving father of Neal Pelcher and his wife Nanci, of Point Pleasant and Kathy Heiselman and her husband Jeff, of East Rutherford, cherished grandfather of Joshua, Jenna, and Daniel Pelcher, devoted husband to the late Florence (nee Biss) and will be dearly missed by an extended family of nieces and nephews.
John, an avid football fan, was himself a Hall of Fame standout at East Rutherford High School. He loved deep sea fishing, summers in Ortley Beach, his sidekicks Champ & Murphy and spending time with his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 1 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, Hasb. Heights, NJ. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations to ASPCA.
