I am sorry to say I lost contact with Joe almost 30 years ago, however I was so glad to hear he turned his life around. Joe and I being an ex-addict knew the pain our addiction caused those we loved, and Joe's heart broke knowing this. I am again so glad to hear he helped those who needed help fighting addiction.Thanks Joe for being a good friend.

Joe will be missed by many. In traveling around this country and the world representing the Fellowship and sharing with numerous people in recovery, Joe had the best understanding of the principles of the program and was unsurpassed in his ability to expressed them verbally as no one else could. I have never heard anyone better. His strong focus and street wide approach has helped numerous people over many years. We have lost a tremendous asset for recovery. Rest in peace Joe.

I have known Joe for many years, he was a mentor to me and helped me find my way
30 yers ago. I think of him often and remember what he taught me. I first walked into the Bagel Shop and met Joe, that day was the first new day of the rest of my life, we talked for hours and Joe soon became my sponsor.
