Joseph E Janowski's Obituary
Joseph E. Janowski, Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 16th, 2025, at the age of 93. He was born on August 21st, 1931 in Roselle New Jersey to his parents Ignatius and Leoradia (Wasielewski) Janowski.
After graduating high school he was drafted into Army in 1949 at the age of 18. Joseph served a tour in the Korean War, he was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries obtained during combat. After the war he worked for Western Electric and AT&T as a Tool and Die Maker for and 43 years.
Joseph’s legacy will be cherished by his surviving loved ones. He is survived by Angela (Mileno), his devoted wife of 64 years and their two children Karen, Linda and her husband Gregory. Additionally he leaves behind 3 grandchildren Matthew, Steven, and Emily who brought great joy to his life.
Visitation will be held on Saturday April 19th from 9:00am to 11:30am at Hennessey-Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum in North Arlington New Jersey.
