Josephine Astorina's Obituary
Ms. Josephine Astorina, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and Godmother.
Born in Militello, Sicily, she immigrated to the United States where she became a citizen and chose to reside in Lodi NJ, to be near her family.
She was predeceased by her parents Nicolna and Giuseppe Astorina; siblings Rosa, Antonino, Paolina, Michael and Salvatrice.
Throughout her life, Josephine was passionate about her beliefs, was a fierce protector of her family and had unshakable convictions. She had high expectations, and in turn, always wanted the same for those she loved. Her strong opinions were her trademark.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Lodi and a master seamstress. During her spare time, she loved nothing more than to be a supportive and loyal sister, aunt and great aunt. Her best times were those spent with her family, both past and present.
She is survived by her nieces Nicolina Greco, Maria Astorina, Laura Astorina; nephew Joseph Astorina; her great nephew Matteo Greco, her great niece Sofia DeMichele, and other family members.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 40 Spring St, Lodi, NJ at 9:00am. All will meet at church. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
