Julio Rosa Jr.'s Obituary
Julio Rosa JR. (97), passed away on June 15, 2023, at Prospect Heights Care Center. He was the widower of Rose Rosa. They shared 52 plus years of marriage together and shared 4 children.
Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, came to New York City when he was 12 to live with his dad. He joined the Merchant Marines during WWII at the age of 17.
He worked very hard to accomplish his dream and opened his own business and became his own boss.
Years later, he was able to buy the building and opened his beloved Meat Market, "CasaBlanca" he owned this store for over 30 years.
He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with his wife and friends, and visiting his son and grandchildren every Sunday.
He is survived by 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
The funeral "Celebrating his life" will be held on Saturday, June 24th, 2023 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.
