Katherine Gardella's Obituary
Katherine Gardella, 82, of East Rutherford, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, passed on December 3rd, 2021. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Louise Bullock, her son Joseph Gardella, her sisters Patricia Edwards and Mary Wagner. Survived by her beloved husband Joseph of 63 years. Loving mother to Kathleen Iappelli and her husband Mario. Cherished grandmother to Nicole and Kaitlyn. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Katherine was the Resident Manager at the Park Terrace Gardens in Hasbrouck Heights before retiring in 2001.
Katherine was an avid writer of poems and songs. She sang and played the guitar as she showed her affection and love for anything related to music. She even had two of her songs published with Lucifer Records called “I’m Free” and “Breakin’ Up”. She absolutely loved her granddaughters and called them her girls.
Funeral from the Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Ave, Hasbrouck Heights. Visitation on Tuesday, December 7th from 4-8pm. Cremation is private.
