Krikor Kupelian's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Krikor Kupelian on June 9th, 2025. After a long and brave battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved daughters, Patille, Tamar and Taleen.
Krikor was born and raised in Aleppo, Syria. He attended Armenian school and served as an altar boy in the Armenian church. The family moved to Kuwait for a few years, where his affinity for aviation began. They then immigrated to the United States in 1969.
Upon arriving in the United States, he quickly embodied the definition of the American Dream. At the young age of 26, he became a successful business owner in the auto industry. In a foreign country, with a limited education, he was bold enough to take risks and follow his dream (all by the grace of GOD). He lived an extraordinary life full of zest, with a passion for singing, undeniable devotion to his children, and a steadfast faith in GOD. In his latter years, his walk with Christ grew exponentially. Viewing will be held at St. Leon Armenian Apostolic Church in Fair Lawn, NJ, from 5-8 pm on Monday, June 16th; The church service will commence at 6 pm, followed by eulogies to honor his life by his beloved daughters.
Funeral Service will be held on:
