Louis Francis Oriente's Obituary
Louis Francis Oriente, of Toms River, formerly of Little Ferry and originally from West New York, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 13, 2023. Louis was born on September 9, 1935, in West New York, NJ, to Louis and Adeline (nee Reinecke) Oriente. Louis grew up in West New York, NJ, and graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School and Memorial High School. He joined the United States Army immediately following high school and proudly served his country for several years, before marrying the love of his life, Patricia Joan (nee Crocitto), who predeceased him. Louis was a barber, a licensed real estate broker and a proud employee of APA Transport Company in North Bergen. He loved his NY Rangers, NY Yankees and NY Giants. He also loved his horse-racing and frequented the Meadowlands Racetrack as often as he could.
Louis is survived by his daughter, Lisa Mesa and her husband, Jules Mesa, his daughter, Karen Oriente, and her fiance, Bob Serio, and his grandchildren, Nicole Feito and Anthony Tsikitikos. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Hoerman. His brother, Robert Berens, predeceased him. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
