Lydia Reid Glover's Obituary
Lydia ( Deo ) Reid Glover was born September 22, 1940 in Rich Square, NC to Stanley and Littie Reid. God sent his angels down from heaven on Saturday September 2, 2023 at 5:36am to the Barnert Subacute Rehabilitation Center in Paterson, New Jersey where she departed this life.
Lydia received her early education at W.S. Creecy High School in Rich Square, NC. She was a member of the Rich Square First Baptist Church. She relocated to Paterson, NJ in her later years. She was employed at the Little Falls Laundry and Annie Sez. She retired from Annie Sez September 14, 2012. She loved the Christmas season, decorating and baking for the family. She enjoyed her soap operas, General Hospital, Young & The Restless, Bold & Beautiful and going to Atlantic City.
She is preceded in death by her son Ricky McMillian, parents Stanley and Littie Hughes Reid, three sisters, Dorothy Mae Belfield, Mary Reid Majette, Jean Reid Jacobs, one brother Edward Reid and one sister-in-law Lois Curry Reid. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Ronnie McMillian and Calvin Glover of Paterson, NJ, one sister Eula “Pig” Reid of Fayetteville, NC, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
