Madison S Diaz-Vasquez's Obituary
Madison S. Diaz
December 16, 1966 - September 10, 2023
Madison, of Maywood, NJ, passed away after a sudden and unexpected illness.
Madison's passing is a great loss to his family, friends, and co-workers. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his beloved mother, Naomi Rendon, husband Guillermo "Fabio" Rendon, and siblings Lucy Vargas, husband Gregory, Alexander Diaz, Shirley Diaz, fiance Stephen Cox, and Tanisha Grace Buta, and husband Radu.
Madison leaves behind many family members who cherished and adored him. Among those who wished they had had more time with him are cousin Omaira Tettay, nieces Elsy Peralta husband Jose, Stephanie Vargas, and Nohemy Diaz, as well as great-nieces and nephews Jaralyn, Layla, Jeremy, Brianna, Juan, Gaston, Yesenia, and Andres. Madison was predeceased by his loving grandmother Maria Vasquez Tettay. Also survived by Madison Diaz Sr (father), and paternal sister Paulina.
Madison attended St Francis Elementary School in Hackensack and graduated Hackensack High School. Madison trained and pursued careers in automotive technology, most recently applying his skills at Ford Motor Company, Rutherford, NJ.
Although he was a quiet man, Madison was an incredibly kind, thoughtful and generous man who valued his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed and had a special way of connecting with everyone lucky enough to come into his life. Anyone who knows him will remember his expertise for restoring cars - especially his painfully slow, yet passionate and still unfinished, restoration of his much loved Corvette.
