Marie Sapio's Obituary
Marie Sapio nee Nolan, of Absecon, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away on July 18, 2011 after a valiant fight with breast cancer, age of 80.
Marie was born in Hoboken and was married to Frank in 1953 for 27 years till his passing. Marie was a full-time mother for many years when she embarked on a real estate career.
She was most proud of her children and grandchildren and often heard telling people that she had eight children, twenty-six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Beloved mother of Bob Sapio and his wife Gail, Debbie Reardon and her husband Vinnie, Judy Dreher and her husband Frank, Suzy Tornabene and her husband Tony, Sandy Cannova and her husband John, Ricky Sapio and his wife Melissa, Russell Sapio and his wife Maria, Tina Kaufmann and her husband Steve and the late Frankie. Loving sister of Mick and Gilda. She was adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. Marie was blessed to have a wonderful companion, Albert Carrano, whom lovingly cared for her until her death.
