Mario Iappelli, 59, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Lodi, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
Mario worked as a floor layer for Pat's Floor Design and the Northeastern Carpenters until his retirement in 2015. He took great pride in his work and the friendships he made throughout his career.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Gabriel and Patricia Iappelli, and his cherished soul dog, Angie.
Mario is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Kathleen Iappelli (née Gardella); his loving daughters, Nicole and Kaitlyn; his two beloved dogs, Lucy, Millie, and Grandpup Thor; his sister, Michele Apicelli; and many extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Mario had a larger-than-life personality and lit up every room he entered. He was a true motorcycle enthusiast and was always looking for an excuse to hit the road with Kathy, creating countless memories together on their rides. His infectious smile, generous spirit, sense of humor, and love for his family, friends, and dogs touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Mario was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
