Martin S Kersnowski Sr's Obituary
Martin Kersnowski, 98, of Lodi passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, November 11, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maxine, his six loving children and their spouses: Timothy and Arlene Kersnowski, Kathy Kersnowski and Tom Ciesla, Susan and Ron Vuyosevich, Martin Jr. and Anne Kersnowski, David Kersnowski, and Daryl and Andrew Puller. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Brian and Michael Kersnowski, Kerri Vuyosevich, Emily and A.J. Puller and four great-grandchildren: Ashley, Brandon, Amelia and Timothy. He is predeceased by his grandson Dustin Kersnowski, and three sisters Helen Jarosz, Wanda Kobylarz, and Irene Piela.
Martin was a Navy Veteran of World War II, and worked as an independent painting contractor for over 20 years. He eventually retired from Sika Corporation as a licensed Black Seal Fireman. He was dedicated to his faith and also served as Deacon and Elder at Faith Reformed Church in Lodi.
Friends and relatives are invited to Hennessey Heights Funeral Home in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ on Thursday, November 15th at 10:00am where a memorial service celebrating Martin’s life and faith will be held. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 14th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
