Martin F Tamborini's Obituary
Martin F. Tamborini, 68, formerly of Lodi, passed away on Tuesday May 13th, 2025 with his beloved family at his side.
Martin preceded his father and mother Anthony “Hank” and Rita Tamborini. He is survived by his brother, Raymond Tamborini (wife, Brenda) and sister Linda Semus (husband, Mark). His nieces and nephews Daena Padilla (husband, Eduardo), Jason Tamborini, Ryan Tamborini (wife, Lauren), Anthony Semus (wife, Kristin) and Alyssa Owens (husband, Michael). His great nieces and nephews Rylee, Oaklee, Charlee, Letty, Cayde, Bodhi, Juliet, Tristan, Zander, Oliver, Mia and Connor.
Those that knew Martin knew how much he had to overcome in his lifetime. Starting at such a young age, Martin beat all odds, time and time again, due to his strength and determination to handle all life threw his way. This allowed Martin to spend some of the most wonderful years with his family.
Growing up, Martin shared a love for any and all cars. He worked in an auto body shop that fueled that love for cars and aided in his love for craftmanship. If he wasn’t carving and painting the numerous items he made from wood, he was putting together model cars to display in his room. If you entered that house, he was sure to tell you all about each and every one of them.
After moving to Columbus, NJ to live with his sister, Linda, in 2010, life never slowed down. He was so proud and loved participating in duty crews for the Franklin Fire Company #1, station 331 in Mansfield Township where the membership recognized him as an Honorary Member in 2014. If he wasn’t at the firehouse, he was in the yard supervising any and all projects that transpired over the years. He was our “foreman.”
As time went on, Martin grew into the role of great uncle and adored his great nieces and nephews. His kind and gentle soul made this the easiest role he took on. He enjoyed coloring, rolling on the floor and swimming with them. Once they came into the world, they were all that mattered.
Same day service and visiting hours to pay respects to Martin and the family will be held Wednesday morning, May 21st, 2025 8:30am to 10:15am at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Avenue Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Funeral liturgy will follow and be held at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church at 125 Union Street Lodi, NJ immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Franklin Fire Company #1 Station 331 (3135 Rte 206 S Suite 4 Columbus, NJ 08022) and/or the Mansfield Township Ambulance Corps (41 Fieldcrest Dr. Columbus, NJ 08022) in Martin’s memory.
Martin will be tremendously missed by all that loved him.
