I have precious memories of grade school sleepovers at Melanie's grandmother's home in Clifton. We shared a love of all things girly including stickers (such one shared here). Melanie was a brave soul who introduced me to daring adventures like crossing Main Ave to eat pizza at Scotty's and having grilled cheese sandwiches at the luncheonette---also across Main Ave. We had fun and Melanie was always so very kind to me.
I shared with Melanie in the Springtime on FB that I had a dream that she was hugging people and was happy. True to her gentle, cheerful kind nature! I will miss her.
