Mark Helwig
I first met Michael when I was working on the Imaginary Friends project. He had a wonderful imagination that just begged to be put into art. Mr. Wumbles will remain one of my favorite characters of his creation and I will always remember the delight he has with the cover I painted for that book.
Most of all, I will remember his kindness and the excitement (which was quite contagious) that he showed when he was working on a project or had an idea. He will live on in his creations and the lives he touched. Goodbye my friend.
