Nelson Torquato da Assumpcao's Obituary
"Nelson Torquato da Assumpcao, age 76, of Belo Horizonte , Minas Gerais, Brazil, passed away on June 30, 2013 while here in the United States visiting his children and grandchildren. He was a kind and loving man, devoted to his family and possessed a very happy spirit. His life in Brazil was fulfilling as he encompassed many occupations ranging from telegraph operator to college professor in economics , finances, investor, accounting and real-sate broker . He will be missed by is family , friends and the many people he mentored in their careers.
He is predeceased by his long term companion Leila Scarpelli, Six children – in the USA: daughter -Roberta Weber, Husband Richard Weber, son- Helder Torquato da Assumpção , wife Jaci Xavier, daughter Renata Vargas, Husband Omar Vargas , grand children, Lucas Torquato Veloso, Julia Ashley Veloso, Chloe Xavier Torquato, Natalia Xavier Torquato, Gabriel Vargas Torquato and Samuel Vargas Torquato.
In Brazil – Son Nelson Mendes Torquato, wife Temis Paz Brasileiro, Daughter- Gerusa Mirela Mendes Torquato , husband Alisson Luiz Moreira And Son Alexandre Magno Mendes Torquato , wife Erlaine Soares Torquato and grandchildren, Danya Saphira Mendes Torquato, Francisca Wihardelene Mendes Torquato and Rafaela Soares Torquato.
Funeral services will be held in Brazil .
Cards should be sent to the homes of the children in the US.
