Pedro Villalobos' Obituary
A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Pedro Villalobos, 64, of Palisades Park, New Jersey passed away December 10, 2018 with his family present. He had bravely confronted and fought cancer. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried him through his treatments.
Pedro was preceded in death by his father, Julio, and his mother, Maria Cristina. Pedro is survived by his wife Elena of 32 years, daughters Noelia, Maria Elena and Christina, brother Alberto Villalobos, sisters Maria Elizabeth Villalobos and Edelmira Villalobos de Bar, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Pedro was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend to everyone.
Pedro was born February 23, 1954 in Lima, Peru, and resided in New Jersey for the past 28 years. He married the love of his life in 1986 and they both moved to New Jersey in 1990 for better opportunities. Pedro was dedicated to education and graduated from San Martin University in Peru and obtained his BBA from Devry University in the U.S. Pedro worked in accounting for the past 20 years even during his treatment. Pedro’s life may seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His kindness and sense of humor brought so much joy to his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Bergen Funeral Home on Friday, December 14, 2018. Pedro will be cremated and his ashes will be returned to his native Peru.
