Deacon Reese A. Long
1965 - 2017
Reese Alvin Long, age 51 passed away on Saturday February 11,2017. He was born in Wilmington, DE to Reese Long and Estelle Lassiter on October 30, 1965. Reese is predeceased by his mother Estelle. Reese worked as a Machinist for Able Machine, was a dedicated Coach and worked tirelessly for CAL Little League, and was a loyal and valued member of The Body of Christ Church. Reese was very proud of his accomplishment as a Journeyman. He was an avid racing fan and spent many nights at the Airport Speedway. He was devoted to his wife Christina and his four children Kyle, Brandon, Christina, and Carrie. Reese leaves behind many nieces,nephews,Godchildren, and many other family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial Service will be held at Body of Christ Church 240 South Dupont Highway 200A, on February 24, 2017 from 5:30 - 9:00. Donations may be presented on their Go Fund Me page or at the Church.
