Regina Vargas' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Regina Vargas, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend, who left this world on December 18, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on September 7, 1953, Regina was a devoted wife for 50 years to her cherished husband, Michael. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and partnership.
Regina is survived by her two sons, Kenneth and Kelvin, Kelvin’s loving wife Erica and Kenneth’s fiancé, Emily. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Tyler and Ciana, who were the lights of her life. She is also mourned by her brother, Jose, her sister, Paula, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who were fortunate to be part of her warm embrace.
A woman of remarkable compassion, Regina dedicated her life to her family, friends, and community. Her love for those she cared about was immeasurable, and everyone who knew her felt the depth of her affection and kindness. Whether through a listening ear, a helping hand, or her infectious smile, Regina made everyone feel cherished and valued.
Her strong faith in God guided her throughout her life and was the foundation of the love she shared. Regina’s journey on earth was marked by grace, humility, and a profound sense of purpose. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who loved her, but her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those who remain.
Regina touched the lives of countless people, and the memories of her will forever serve as a shining light in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in all those who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of Regina’s life will be held at Hennessey Heights Funeral Home on Sunday, December 22 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. A mass will be held on Monday, December 23 at 11:45 at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church 124 Union Avenue Clifton, NJ.
