Robert Manfredi's Obituary
Robert A. Manfredi (Bob) passed away in his sleep peacefully from natural causes January 4th, 2019 after battling complications related to heart failure.
Bob was born October 15th, 1945 in Havestraw, New York. He was the only child of Robert and Louise. Robert graduated from Havestraw-Stony Point High School in 1963. Following high school he graduated from Monnouth College in West Long Branch New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After college Bob embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that would last his lifetime. He was the owner of multiple businesses including: Princess Deli on Saddle River Road, Mr Arcade in Nanuette, New York, Cystals Bar in Nyack, NY, and Golden's Deli in Manhattan in the garment district. He owned a mobile food service for years. He also managed Krauser"s for a time and drove a limo later in life. Bob was an extremely hard worker. He had a photographic memory and could recall details with precision. He spent most of his adult life living in Montvale, New Jersey. Some of his favorite things do were:watching movies, telling hysterically funny "off color" jokes, enjoying a great meal with friends, stylish automobiles, a great steak and he went on numerous cruises with family and friends. He was often the life of the party and stayed in touch regularly with his graduating class of 63. He was on the committee for each of his class reunions. His favorite song was "Shout" by the Isley Brothers. He is survived by his daughter Susan, son-in-law, John, grand-children Caleb and John, cousins Vicky Manfredi and other family members.
